The vacations are over and the preparation for most diffiult, Olympic, season is well underway. It begun with the recuperating camp in Sochi, headed by the new national team doctor: young, but proficient Yaroslav Bugaev.
Starting with July 17th the entire Zhuk and Svinin's group planted themselves in Learning and Training Center «Novogorsk» for traditional month-and-a-half long summer training camp. This year the coaches (in addition to Irina and Alexander the list also includes Sergey Romashkin and modern-choreographer Slava Krichmaryov) were joined by stamina coach Andrei Zakalski and the second choreographer, Moiseev's Company dancer, Igor Pivorovich.
The choreography for Yana Khokhlova & Sergey Novitsky's dances has been completed last week. Naturally, the dances will the fine tuned, but the general layout and the style are set. This week, the work on costumes has begun. With the positive experiences from last season the skaters decided to continue collaboration with Slava Zaitsev. Already the first meeting, during which the ideas for future costumes were discussed, impressed both the skaters and their coaches with originality and creativity of Vyacheslav Mikhailovich's suggestions. We are certain that the new Khokhlova&Novitsky's costumes will make the same splash as last year «Zaitsev's» ones.
